Şükrü Hanioğlu

M. Şükrü Hanioğlu is a Professor of Near Eastern Studies at Princeton University and Chair of the Near Eastern Studies Department. He holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from Istanbul University and has taught courses on late Ottoman political and diplomatic history at institutions including Istanbul University, Bosphorus University, the Turkish Naval Academy, Columbia University, and Princeton.
