İrem Güçeri is an Associate Professor of Economics and Public Policy at the University of Oxford's Blavatnik School of Government, and a Governing Body Fellow of St Antony’s College. She holds additional affiliations as a Research Affiliate at CEPR and CESifo, an International Research Fellow at the Oxford Centre for Business Taxation, and serves on editorial boards for the Oxford Review of Economic Policy and National Tax Journal.

She employs structural and empirical methods on large administrative datasets from diverse economies.
Professional Experience: Prior to Oxford, she worked at the World Bank (Europe and Central Asia region) addressing SMEs, R&D, corporate taxation, and financial sector risks. At Saïd Business School, she was a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow and taught courses on finance and public policy.
