Georgia Andreou is a Professor at the University of Thessaly's Faculty of Education and Training, specializing in Linguistics with a focus on educational and neuropsychological approaches to language acquisition. She serves as Director of the Bilingual Education Laboratory and holds leadership roles including elected member of the University of Thessaly's Board of Directors since 2023 and former President of the Hellenic Association of Teachers of Greek Language (2019-2023). Analysis of her 15 most recent publications reveals strong focus on cross-linguistic transfer in bilingual contexts, technological interventions for learning disabilities, and neurocognitive underpinnings of language disorders. Her work bridges theoretical linguistics with practical educational applications, particularly in Greek language contexts.
