Dr. Gregor Giebel is a senior researcher and Head of Section in the Department of Wind and Energy Systems at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), specifically within the Renewable Plants in Energy Systems group. He is actively engaged in advancing wind energy technologies and their integration into modern power systems. His leadership extends to major international and EU-funded initiatives, including IEA Wind Task 51 and the NEST Facilities research infrastructure. Gregor Giebel's research focuses on short-term wind power forecasting , large-scale integration of wind into electricity grids , wind farm flow control , and condition monitoring of wind turbines .
