Arthur J. Lembo, Jr. is Professor of Geography and Geoscience in the Henson School of Science and Technology at Salisbury University, where he has taught since 2007. He also serves as Technical Director of the Eastern Shore Regional GIS Cooperative, leading regional geospatial initiatives and enterprise GIS projects. Education B.S. His work explores high-performance GIS through massively-parallel algorithms executed on consumer-grade gaming GPUs, enterprise-scale spatial database design, and the integration of smartphone sensors into real-time mapping workflows. Additional emphases include spatial decision support for post-disaster infrastructure assessment, crime analysis, and sustainable local food systems.
