Dr. Juan Carlos González Maya is an Associate Professor at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) specializing in Spanish Philology, Golden Age Literature, and Modern/Classical Spanish Literature. His scholarly work focuses on 17th-century Spanish drama, poetic forms, and religious symbolism in early modern texts. Academic Roles: Member of the Spanish Association of Spanish Writers (AISO) since 2005, reviewer for Revista de Literatura (CSIC) and Castilla.
