Ronghua Xu is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Applied Computing, Michigan Technological University, specializing in blockchain, IoT, and edge computing. Recent publications highlight blockchain-enabled architectures for secure data access, federated learning, and edge resource management. Awards include the Graduate Student Excellence Award (2023) and ICC Rapid Seeding Awards (2024). Ronghua Xu actively seeks self-motivated Ph.D. students for his research group. He previously worked at Siemens (2010–2016) on software development and system integration.
