Dr Abdolreza Roshani is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Business Analytics at Surrey Business School , University of Surrey. He also serves as the Undergraduate Program Director for the BSc in Business Management with Business Analytics. He is affiliated with the Centre for Business Analytics in Practice and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and the Sustainability Institute . He has a strong focus on resilient supply chain design , additive manufacturing , and energy-efficient production systems . Publications and Research Trends: His recent publications demonstrate a clear trajectory toward integrating advanced analytics with real-world manufacturing and logistics challenges . His work includes developing risk assessment frameworks for additive manufacturing, resilient network design for supply chains, and optimization models for electric vehicle scheduling and assembly line balancing. Scientific Awards and Honors: Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) Fellow of the Sustainability Institute Grants and Projects: Dr Roshani was a key contributor to the RAMONA Project , a £1+ million EPSRC-funded collaboration between the University of Warwick, University of Reading, and University of Surrey. The project focused on enhancing resilience in additive manufacturing through disruption detection, analysis, and responsive reconfiguration strategies. Doctoral Supervision and Teaching: He is currently accepting applications from prospective PhD students in Business Analytics and resilient supply chain design . He teaches modules such as Data Mining and Text Analytics at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Affiliations and Collaborations: Beyond Surrey, he has conducted advanced research at Genova University and served as a visiting scholar at Kettering University (Michigan) .
