Professor Courtney J. Robinson serves as Professor and Chair of the Department of Biology within Howard University's College of Arts & Sciences. Her research integrates microbial ecology with host-microbiota interactions using innovative insect model systems, particularly the cabbage white butterfly (Pieris rapae), to investigate fundamental ecological concepts and disease mechanisms.
