Dr. Qianwen (Vivian) Guo is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering. Her research focuses on optimizing transportation systems, particularly in public transit, shared mobility, and infrastructure resilience. She holds a joint Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Cornell University and Management Science and Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Dr. Guo's work spans interdisciplinary areas including quantum computing applications in transportation, disaster evacuation planning using autonomous vehicles, and equity-aware transit policies. She has received funding from NSF, FDOT, and USDOT, and leads the FAMU-FSU ITE student chapter. Her research has been recognized by the Society of Asian Scientists & Engineers in 2021.
