Brittany E. Wyche is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Counseling at Wake Forest University since July 2021. She earned her Ph.D. in Counseling and Counselor Education from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (2021) and holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Counseling and Psychology/English from Wake Forest University. Education : Ph.D. (UNC Greensboro), M.A. and B.A. (Wake Forest University) Her research focuses on trauma-informed care, community-based mental health, weight stigma, eating disorders, and family systems. She has contributed to publications on body image, trauma-informed supervision, and community mental health frameworks. Wyche has presented at national conferences on trauma counseling and disordered eating. She received the Graduate Research Award from UNC Greensboro (2021) and serves as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor in North Carolina.
