Associate Professor Nattaporn Panphothong is a faculty member in the Department of Thai Language, Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University. Their studies often employ critical discourse analysis to uncover ideologies in media, textbooks, and political speeches. Key Research Trends: Recent work emphasizes generational language use (Y/Z generations), cultural representation in media, and political discourse mechanisms. Earlier studies focused on Thai conversational particles (mai-pen-rai), refusal strategies, and gratitude response patterns.
