Henrik Bruus is a Professor and Section Head in the Department of Physics at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). He leads the Section of Biophysics and Fluids and the Theoretical Microfluidics Group, focusing on theoretical modeling in microfluidics, acoustofluidics, and nanofluidics. His academic journey began at the Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen, where he earned his B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. in physics. He has held research and faculty positions at NORDITA, Yale University, CNRS-CRTBT, and DTU, transitioning from DTU Nanotech to DTU Physics in 2012. He has held visiting professorships at Harvard, MIT, Princeton, and several French institutions.
