Professor Marian-Gabriel Hâncean holds a faculty position at the University of Bucharest's Faculty of Sociology and Social Work. His research focuses on network science, particularly social networks analysis, organizational sociology, and the interplay between societal structures and health outcomes. He leads the GraphNets research team, which explores applications ranging from migration corridors to climate impact on disease spread (e.g., the COSMOS project).
