Professor Xianghua Xie is a full Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Swansea University, leading the Computer Vision and Machine Learning research team (CSVision). He holds a PhD and MSc from the University of Bristol and has held academic positions since 2007. His research focuses on Pattern Recognition, Machine Intelligence, and their applications in medical imaging, automated diagnosis, and deep learning. He has published over 150 refereed papers and serves as an associate editor for IET Computer Vision.
