Boo Fredrik Sahlander is an Associate Professor in the Department of Popular Music at the University of Agder. Sahlander actively engages with both academic and artistic communities through concerts, workshops, and collaborative projects. Recent activities include organizing and performing in over 50 concerts across Norway, including series with South City Stompers, jazz festivals, and experimental projects like Art’s Resonance Across Continents . These performances highlight his commitment to historical repertoire revival, cross-genre experimentation, and community engagement through music. Notable collaborations include work with Runar Nørsett Trio and Tini Flaat, exploring Norwegian jazz traditions and modern improvisation.
