Assistant Professor
David Šaur is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics within Tomas Bata University's Faculty of Applied Informatics. His work bridges meteorology, applied informatics, and crisis management, focusing on severe convective storms and flash flood risk forecasting for regional governance. Developed FLAPRIS , a system for flash flood risk forecasting in the Zlín Region. Collaborated on X-band radar applications for real-time precipitation monitoring. These works underpin practical crisis management tools for municipalities.
