Associate Professor
Miroslava Kavgic is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Ottawa. She holds a Ph.D. (United Kingdom), M.Sc. (United Kingdom), and B.Sc. (Serbia), and is a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.). Her research focuses on sustainable building engineering, carbon-negative materials, and energy-efficient design for remote communities. She leads the Centre for Indigenous Community Infrastructure at uOttawa, emphasizing culturally appropriate solutions.
