Senior Lecturer
Dr. Sajeeb Saha is a Senior Lecturer in Electrical Engineering at the School of Science and Engineering, University of the Sunshine Coast. He holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Melbourne and previously served as a Senior Lecturer at Deakin University. His research focuses on power systems, renewable energy integration, and smart grid technologies. Research Interests: Dr. Saha's work encompasses power system modelling, fault diagnosis, renewable energy sources (solar, wind, hydrogen), battery storage systems, and cybersecurity in power grids. His research aims to enhance grid stability and efficiency in renewable-dominated energy systems. Publications: His recent articles (2024-2025) predominantly explore renewable energy integration, grid stability optimization, and advanced control strategies for modern power systems. Common themes include frequency management in low-inertia grids and hybrid energy solutions. Awards and Memberships: Chair, IEEE Industry Application Society (IAS), Victorian Chapter (2020-2021) Member of IEEE Power and Energy Society Member of Engineers Australia Supervision and Grants: Has supervised 2 PhD students to completion and participated in externally funded research projects totaling over AUD 7 million, including ARENA-funded initiatives on energy storage standards and grid cybersecurity.
