Professor
Vladimir Parpura is a Distinguished Professor and Director at the International Translational Neuroscience Research Institute of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University (2023-present). He has held tenured professorships at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (2007-2015), University of Rijeka (2012-2015), and visiting roles at institutions including the University of Split (2011-13) and Biophysics PhD Programme at the University of Split (2008-present). His career spans neuroscience, biophysics, and neurochemistry. His work bridges cellular neuroscience with advanced materials and computational modeling.
