Associate Professor
Marie-Andree Harvey is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Urology at Queen’s University, affiliated with the School of Medicine within the Faculty of Health Sciences. She holds cross appointments as Division Chair of Urology and chairs the Scientific Committee of the Canadian Foundation for Research on Incontinence. Her clinical expertise spans urogynecology, pelvic reconstructive surgery, and childbirth-related pelvic floor trauma. Dr. Harvey completed her MD at Université Laval (1992), Fellowship in Obstetrics/Gynaecology at McGill University (1997), and a Master’s in Clinical Epidemiology (University of Ottawa, 2005). Her research focuses on urinary incontinence management, prolapse surgery outcomes, and the natural history of postpartum pelvic floor changes. She has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications and actively contributes to guideline development for vaginal pessary use, obstetrical anal sphincter injuries, and urodynamic testing standards.
