Dr Rachid Hamadi is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from UNSW, alongside a M.Sc. and a B.Sc. (with Honours) in Computer Science from the University of Science and Technology Houari Boumediene (USTHB), Algeria. Prior to joining UNSW, he served as a Lecturer at Federation University, Victoria University, University of New England, Central Queensland University, and USTHB. Education Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering (UNSW) M.Sc. in Computer Science (USTHB, Algeria) B.Sc. (with Honours) in Computer Science (USTHB, Algeria) Research Interests His research focuses on formal modeling of business processes, exception handling, analysis and verification, and service-oriented computing. His work integrates formal methods such as Petri nets to address challenges in business process management, privacy preservation in web services, and dynamic workflow systems. Publications include significant contributions to international journals and conferences. Teaching Dr Hamadi teaches Programming, Databases, Web Technologies, Software Engineering, and Capstone Projects at UNSW.
