Bernd Schneider holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Münster and is currently a Researcher at the Department of Business Information Systems and Intelligent Systems (580A) at the University of Hohenheim. He previously served as a researcher and lecturer at the Chair of Information Systems at Münster University (1993–2004). His research focuses on Electronic Business, particularly web evaluation, mobile applications, e-learning, and AI applications. He co-authored over 20 publications since 1997, including works on mobile learning frameworks (HohLearn), Quantified Self approaches in education, and Bitcoin analysis. As teaching coordinator, he oversees thesis supervision and advises on academic committees such as the Senate Commission for Studies and Teaching. His roles include membership in the Faculty Council of Economics and Social Sciences, admissions committees for Master's programs, and various university-wide administrative bodies.
