Senior Lecturer
Dr Kenisha Garnett is a Senior Lecturer in Decision Science at Cranfield Environment Centre, Cranfield University. She serves as Co-Course Director for both the Sustainability MSc and Sustainability Business Specialist Apprenticeship programs. Her research specializes in futures analysis, strategic risk assessment, and stakeholder engagement for environmental and agricultural sustainability. PhD in Waste Management Policy and Stakeholder Engagement MA in Social Science Research Methods MSc(Eng.) in Environmental Engineering and Project Management BEng in Civil Engineering Kenisha leads major projects including the Supplier to the Futures Framework Agreement with the UK Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (2023-2027) and the Natural Burials and Soil Ecosystem Services research (2024). Her work spans food system resilience, climate adaptation in coffee production, and policy development for environmental governance. Her recent publications focus on organic management practices in coffee production (2025), food supply chain resilience (2025), and agroecological approaches to soil health (2024). She has extensive experience advising government agencies including the European Commission and British Council.
