Associate Professor
Gargi Bhaduri is an Associate Professor and Associate Director of the School of Fashion at Kent State University's College of the Arts. She holds a Ph.D. in Human Environmental Sciences from the University of Missouri (2014), with a focus on Textile and Apparel Management. Her academic roles include teaching, research leadership, and program coordination in fashion merchandising. Education: Bachelor of Fashion Technology (Apparel Production), National Institute of Fashion Technology, India (2009) MS in Textile and Apparel Management, University of Missouri (2011) PhD in Human Environmental Sciences, University of Missouri (2014) Graduate Certificate in Center for Digital Globe, University of Missouri Research Interests: Empowering supply chain stakeholders through information transparency, sustainable consumption, brand communication strategies, and ethical apparel practices. She employs mixed-method approaches in studying consumer behavior related to sustainability, luxury goods, and corporate social responsibility.
