Dr. Aloysius Marcus Kahindi is a Professor and Canada Research Chair (Tier II) in International Sustainable Development at the University of Victoria. He holds a PhD in International Management & Sociology from Trinity College Dublin, along with prior degrees in Philosophy and Organizational Sociology. His research focuses on multinational enterprises (MNEs) strategies in sub-Saharan Africa, particularly examining interactions between formal/informal institutions, political risks, and sustainable development. Key areas include corruption management, FDI impacts, and indigenous knowledge systems.
