Distinguished Professor Chin-Teng Lin is a leading academic at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) , where he serves as Co-Director of the Australian AI Institute (AAII) and Director of the Computational Intelligence and Brain Computer Interface Lab . With a career spanning decades, he has pioneered advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) and brain-computer interfaces (BCI) , focusing on human-machine collaboration, wearable EEG systems, and neuroergonomics. His research outputs include over 950 peer-reviewed publications , with a focus on deep learning , transformer models , and clustering algorithms .
