Associate Professor
Associate Professor Leo Foyle is a veterinarian and academic at James Cook University, specializing in Veterinary Public Health and Aquatic Veterinary Studies. He is registered with the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Queensland and the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, with prior affiliations including University College Dublin and the Veterinary Laboratories Agency (UK). He pioneered recoverable fish surgery in Australia and contributed to the Abattoir Learning Resource, earning awards like the JCU Teaching Citation and AVA VERA award.
