Associate Professor
Anne Zouggar Amrani is an Associate Professor at the University of Bordeaux , France, and a researcher at the IMS Lab within the Production Engineering research group ( LOCO2 team). She holds a PhD in production/logistics and an HDR qualification in Lean manufacturing. Research focuses on Lean implementation models , particularly in automotive and aeronautics sectors. Active in national collaborations (GDR Digital Transformations for SMEs) and international partnerships (University of New Haven, USN Norway, Sheffield UK, Polytecnico Di Milano, University of Galway). Supervised multiple doctoral theses and contributed to European projects, co-authoring over 40 publications. Co-leader of the Lean Thinking and Practices SIG in the IFIP/WG 5.7 community, organizing webinars on Lean production research advances. Her recent work explores the intersection of Lean manufacturing and Industry 4.0 technologies, emphasizing supply chain optimization, complexity measurement, and educational innovation. Articles analyze strategic frameworks for Lean-Industry 4.0 integration, AI-driven supply chain transformations, and cross-sector applications in healthcare. She leads research transfer initiatives to industry through partnerships with Safran , Dassault , Thales , Stellantis , and Faurécia , translating academic insights into practical tools for manufacturing and logistics.
