Fred Cudjoe Adadey holds a Doctor of Philosophy from the School of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences and the Centre for Inclusive Humanities. He currently serves as a visiting lecturer at the Church Mission Society, UK, and has an eight-year background as a missionary in Thailand and neighboring countries. His research focuses on the intersection of religion, culture, and community development in Thailand and Ghana, with particular emphasis on African Pentecostalism, Thai Buddhism, and faith-based civil engagement. Education: MA in Theology and Leadership (University of Roehampton, 2016-2019) MA in Master of Theology in Intercultural Studies (Fuller Theological Seminary, 2020-2022) Research Interests: Fred explores missions studies, African Pentecostalism, Thai Buddhism's role in community development, African Christianity in diaspora contexts, Ewe mythology, and the application of religious capital to social initiatives. His work bridges theological practice with practical community development strategies, informed by fieldwork with Buddhist monks and Ghanaian shrines. Consultancy & Networks: Supervised projects on re-entry programs for formerly incarcerated individuals and is a founding member of the African Christianity and Development Network Series (ACaDNS).
