Bjørn Olav Åsvold, MD, PhD, is a Professor of Medicine (Epidemiology) and Center leader at the HUNT Centre for Molecular and Clinical Epidemiology (HUNT MCE), Department of Public Health and Nursing, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). He also serves as a Consultant at the Department of Endocrinology, St. Olavs Hospital, Trondheim University Hospital. His research spans epidemiology, genetics, and clinical medicine.
