Assistant Professor
Ana Doblas, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. She holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Valencia (2015), an MSc in Advanced Physics (2011), and a BSc in Physics (2010). Her Optical Imaging Research Laboratory develops multimodal imaging platforms and computational methods for biomedical applications. Research interests include: Digital holographic microscopy reconstruction algorithms Low-cost diagnostic imaging systems 3D super-resolution microscopy Automated image processing pipelines She has received NSF CAREER and industry funding for developing accessible microscopy technologies. Current projects focus on improving resolution and accessibility of optical imaging for healthcare applications.
