Sadequr Rahman is a Professor at the School of Science, Monash University, Malaysia. He holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of London and a BA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge. His academic work spans research, teaching, and leadership in molecular biology, genetics, and genomics. His research focuses on the applications of molecular biology, genetics, and genomics to food security and environmental health. Key areas include microbial genomics, plant biotechnology, conservation biology, and environmental biomonitoring.
