Prof Nicos Georgiou is a Professor of Probability Theory and Applications at the University of Sussex, within the School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences. He holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has held academic positions including Reader, Senior Lecturer, and Lecturer at Sussex, as well as a postdoctoral role at the University of Utah.
