Andrei Derevianko is the Sara Louise Hartman Endowed Professor of Physics at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR), within the College of Science's Department of Physics. He has held academic ranks including Assistant (2001-2006), Associate (2006-2010), and Full Professor (2010-present) at UNR. His research focuses on precision measurements, dark matter detection via atomic clocks, and quantum information processing. Notable contributions include leveraging GPS satellite atomic clocks for dark matter searches and developing theoretical frameworks for ultralight dark matter interactions. Education: Ph.D. in Physics (1996, Auburn University), M.S. in Physics and Applied Mathematics (1992, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology). Awards include the Simons Fellowship and Fellow of the American Physical Society. His work bridges atomic physics with particle and nuclear physics, emphasizing interdisciplinary approaches to fundamental questions in physics. Research interests include atomic clock networks for exotic physics, quantum sensor networks, and theoretical studies of fundamental constants. He leads the GPS.DM observatory, analyzing 16 years of GPS data for dark matter signatures. Collaborations span institutions like CERN and the Nevada Geodetic Laboratory.
