David Nadler is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of California, Berkeley, appointed in 2012. His research centers on geometric representation theory and symplectic geometry, with significant contributions to the Langlands program, microlocal sheaf theory, and symplectic topology. He maintains an active research group and teaches courses ranging from undergraduate linear algebra to graduate algebraic topology and geometry.
