Brinia Vasiliki is a Lecturer at the Department of Informatics, School of Information Sciences and Technology, Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), where she also serves as Head of the Teacher Education Program (TEP) and its Scientific Director. She holds advanced degrees including a PhD in Education and Teaching Sciences, complemented by extensive postdoctoral research in adult education methodology. Her roles include teaching at AUEB since 2005, and postgraduate programs at the Hellenic Open University, University of Peloponnese, and University of Athens. Education: Two Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration, MBA, Diplomas in Pedagogical Studies and Counseling, PhD in Education, and postdoctoral work in adult education pedagogy. Research focuses on educational leadership, sustainable development in education, blended learning, and innovative teaching methods. She pioneered AUEB’s TEP, modeled after Harvard and Stanford’s programs, certified by Greece’s Ministry of Education since 2013. Her work bridges theory and practice in cultural heritage, entrepreneurship, and experiential learning. Publications span 145 works, including 70 peer-reviewed journal articles. She edits the Journal of Education and Teaching Methodology and serves on editorial boards of 9+ international journals, emphasizing education economics, management, and sustainability. Advisory roles include expertise at Greece’s Ministry of Education for systemic reforms. She has mentored across institutions, emphasizing mentorship effectiveness in teacher education. Active in interdisciplinary initiatives like the Eleusis 2023 Cultural Heritage project, blending education with community engagement.
