Inna Stepchuk is a PhD candidate and researcher at the Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management, Delft University of Technology. She is affiliated with the Engineering Systems and Services department and part of the Energy and Industry group . Her current research is under the NWO project “Unravelling the impact of using alternative raw materials in industrial clusters,” led by Prof. Andrea Ramirez. The project focuses on evaluating the impacts of replacing fossil-based raw materials with alternatives like CO 2 or biomass in industrial sectors, utilizing process modeling and simulation software (ASPEN). Inna holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering for Chemical Production from NTUU “KPI” in Ukraine (2015) and a second Master’s in Management and Engineering of Environment and Energy from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden (2019, through the Erasmus Mundus ME3 program). Her research interests include sustainable energy systems development and integration , complex assessment of novel technologies , industrial decarbonization , and process modeling and optimization . These areas reflect her commitment to advancing clean energy transitions and addressing environmental challenges through innovative technical and managerial approaches. Prior to her PhD, Inna gained five years of professional experience as a research analyst and consultant in clean energy transition projects across Ukraine, Germany, and the Netherlands. This experience bridges practical industry insights with academic research. Inna is based in Room B3.270, Building 31 on the TU Delft campus. She can be reached via email at I.Stepchuk@tudelft.nl .
