Senior Lecturer
Michael Charlton is a Senior Lecturer at the Sheffield Business School, University of Sheffield Hallam, specializing in Business Operations and Systems. He transitioned from a 15-year industry career in the clothing and public sectors into academia in 2011. His roles included senior commercial manager (managing ERP/CRM systems) and public-sector project consultant (housing regeneration projects). Michael is affiliated with the Business Systems Laboratory and previously served as Secretary of the Yorkshire & Humberside Operational Research Group (YHORG, 2014–2015).
