Aapo Hyvärinen is a Professor of Computer Science at the University of Helsinki , affiliated with the Helsinki Institute for Information Technology and the Helsinki Probabilistic Machine Learning Lab . He previously held the position of Professor of Machine Learning at the Gatsby Computational Neuroscience Unit, University College London (2016-2019).
