Timothy M. Hospedales is a Professor of Artificial Intelligence at the Institute of Perception, Action and Behaviour within the School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh . He also serves as VP AI and Head of Samsung AI Research Centre Europe . His research focuses on efficient and robust AI , emphasizing meta-learning , lifelong transfer-learning , and domain adaptation in both probabilistic and deep learning frameworks.
