Dr. Mylonakis Mikis is a PostDoctoral Fellow at the Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser (IESL) of the Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas (FORTH), affiliated with the University of Crete. His work focuses on advanced optical systems and bioimaging technologies. Education: PhD in Materials Science and Technology (2024), University of Crete MSc in Materials Science and Technology (2018), University of Crete BSc in Physics (2015), University of Crete Research interests include optical design, wavefront shaping for microscopic imaging, and mechanical design of optical systems. His innovations include a novel adaptive optics illumination device for in vivo imaging and a bimodal optical/optoacoustic microscope. His work bridges biophotonics and quantum magnetometry.
