Lukas Möltner is a Professor and Study Coordinator at the Management Center Innsbruck , specializing in General/Process Engineering. He holds a Habilitation in Internal Combustion Engines and Automotive Engineering from Vienna University of Technology (2019) and a Dr.techn. in Mechanical Engineering (2014). His research focuses on exhaust gas after-treatment (SCR systems) , fuel technologies , and internal combustion engine optimization , particularly for sustainable applications like sewage gas-driven engines and hydrotreated vegetable oils . He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications on topics such as catalyst aging effects , ammonia generation , and charge motion optimization . His work has received recognition, including the First Prize of the Jubilee Foundation 2014 and the 2017 Best Paper Award . He has supervised over 30 bachelor's and master's theses, with recent projects analyzing ceramic composites , biogas utilization , and oxidation stability of biodiesel . As a peer reviewer and conference presenter, he contributes to advancing chemical and process engineering in automotive contexts.
