Yuri Zhukov is an Associate Professor at Georgetown University, holding dual appointments in the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service and the Department of Government (College). His research focuses on armed conflict, state repression, and geospatial data science, with notable work on the Russian invasion of Ukraine and historical legacies of political violence. He earned his Ph.D. in Government from Harvard University, an M.A. in National Security Studies from Georgetown, and a B.A. in International Relations from Brown University.
