Mirta Mittelstedt Leal de Sousa serves as a Senior Researcher in the Department of Clinical and Molecular Medicine at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. Her laboratory is situated at Laboratoriesenteret, Øya campus in Trondheim, Norway. Her educational background includes a PhD in Molecular Medicine (2012) from NTNU's Department of Cancer Research and Molecular Medicine, an MSc in Molecular Biology (2003) from the University of Brasília, Brazil, and a BSc in Chemistry (2000) from the same institution.
