Wiebke Rademacher is Professor of Arts and Cultural Education (MAE) and Instrumental and Vocal Pedagogy (BA) at the Music and Arts Private University of the City of Vienna (MUK) . Studied musicology/history at Universities of Cologne and Basel (BA/MA), music education at Detmold University of Music (M.Mus.), and classical guitar at Maastricht Conservatory (B.Mus.) Doctorate (Dr. phil. summa cum laude, University of Cologne 2020) on classical music reception by broad audiences in Berlin 1900. Research Interests : Historical musicology focusing on non-bourgeois performance contexts, music pedagogy innovation, audience engagement through interdisciplinary concert formats, and cultural education strategies. Articles demonstrate her expertise in: concert history, working-class music reception, digital music education, climate activism through sound art, and audience diversification strategies. 2024 jury advisor for D-Bü Competition 2014-2021: Head of Education Department at PODIUM Esslingen Awarded for VISION participatory format (nominated for German Federal Cultural Education Prize) 2022: Board of Trustees member at PODIUM Esslingen Academic Collaborations : Lecturer at Cologne University of Music and Dance, Robert Schumann University of Music Düsseldorf, and University of Cologne (2016/17 research assistant).
