Prof. Javier Garcia-Frias is a Professor and Associate Chair for Graduate Studies in the College of Engineering at the University of Delaware. His research focuses on advancing information processing techniques in communications, bioinformatics, and quantum computing. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from UCLA and has been recognized with prestigious awards including the NSF CAREER Award and the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE).
