Professor Catherine Wang is a Professor of Entrepreneurship and Strategy at Brunel Business School, Brunel University London. She serves as the Research Excellence Framework (REF) Lead and founded the Interdisciplinary Research Centre for Entrepreneurship and Sustainability, directing it for seven years. Previously, she held academic positions at Royal Holloway (University of London) and Oxford Brookes University. Her research focuses on the integration of entrepreneurship, strategy, and innovation, with emphasis on: Digital/social/sustainable entrepreneurship Entrepreneurial orientation across organizational contexts Dynamic capabilities and organizational ambidexterity AI applications in strategic decision-making Cross-cultural innovation comparisons (UK-China) Her publication portfolio demonstrates strong emphasis on innovation processes, organizational learning, and strategic adaptation, with recurring themes of entrepreneurial failure analysis, dynamic capabilities, and high-tech SME management across geographical contexts.
