A. Nii-Armah Okine is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Appalachian State University. His research focuses on actuarial science, spanning loss reserving , dependence modeling , machine learning , ratemaking , and micro-insurance . He holds a Ph.D. in Actuarial Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and master’s degrees from Illinois State University and the University of Cape Coast-Ghana.
