Paolo Monti is a Professor and Head of the Optical Networks Unit at Chalmers University of Technology's Department of Communications, Antennas and Optical Networks. With extensive expertise in optical communication infrastructures, he leads research focusing on energy efficiency, network resiliency, programmability, automation, and techno-economics of optical networks. His work spans multiple international collaborations with funding from major research bodies across EU, USA, and Asia.
